Nabeeha is the Executive Director of No Wasted Lives. She leads advocacy, financing, policy development, and civil society mobilisation efforts to scale up the prevention and treatment of acute malnutrition in high-burden African and South Asian countries. With more than 20 years of public health, nutrition, agriculture, and early childhood development expertise, Nabeeha has directed multi-sectoral initiatives and programmes to accelerate global development impact at scale. She served as President & CEO of Humanitas Global, and served in senior roles with global communications firm, FleishmanHillard, and The Clinton Foundation’s Global HIV/AIDS Initiative, and implementing advocacy and community programmes for UNICEF, the EastWest Institute, and the International Maize and Wheat Improvement Center (CIMMYT).
Nabeeha was born in Pakistan, and raised in the United States and Mexico. She speaks English, Hindi, Spanish, and Urdu fluently, and has worked on community programmes in more than 20 countries. She holds Bachelor’s degrees in Political Science and Journalism and Mass Communications from Kansas State University, in Manhattan, Kansas, and Master’s degrees in International Affairs and Public Health from Columbia University in New York.
