As Deputy Director, Amy works with the senior leadership of No Wasted Lives to drive evidence uptake, partnership, advocacy and policy engagement efforts to scale up the prevention and treatment of acute malnutrition in high-burden African and South Asian countries. Previously, Amy was Head of Evidence for No Wasted Lives, leading the technical and research activities of No Wasted Lives, including management of a portfolio of innovative operational research to generate new evidence, and support to the Council of Research & Technical Advice on Acute Malnutrition (CORTASAM) to effectively drive the uptake and use of emerging evidence on acute malnutrition.
Previously, she led a portfolio of nutrition evaluations and research at the Children’s Investment Fund Foundation (CIFF), and worked with PATH Malaria Vaccine Initiative and the World Bank. She holds a BA in International Studies, a BS in Cellular, Molecular & Developmental Biology from the University of Washington, and a Masters in Health Sciences from Johns Hopkins University Bloomberg School of Public Health.
